The following strategic goals have been analysed in this strategic plan:

1. Establish a Stable financial foundation for the farm by increasing its capital
from $55k to $600k latest 2027.
2. Set up an administrative office on the farm and Yaounde by 2026.
3. Progressively engage staff to function in all departments latest 2027.
4. By the end of 2025, create a current bank account for CVF.
5. Progressively improve overall farm security.
6. Progressively upgrade farm equipment from traditional to modern equipment.
7. By 2030, construct an ultra-modern hostel accompanied by the traditional
Fulani huts to host a maximum of 15 persons per time.
8. By 2027 construct a solar grid to provide adequate electricity for the farm.
9. By 2027, increase sustainable water sources for animals and workers of the
farm and other community grazers through the construction of four boreholes
10.By the end of 2026 construct a Biogas plant to sustainably manage animal
waste
11.By 2026, engage a full-time Marketer to also function as Social Media
Manager
12.From 2025, utilize paid social media ads and ensure frequent posting of brand
products and services amongst the brand audience.
13.From 2025, print marketing gadgets such as flyers, brochures, business
cards, PEPs, T-shirts, etc.
14.From 2025, run awareness-raising campaigns on social media, radio and
targeted institutions.
15.By 2026, set up two butcheries in strategic points in Yaounde where
consumable products from the farm are sold and showcased.
16.From 2025, improve accessibility to the farm for outsiders.
17.By 2026, engage a full-time Marketer/ Social Media Manager and grant Writer
and engage staff for all the departments progressively.
18.By the end of 2025, develop HR policies, bylaws and job descriptions.
19.From 2025, integrate remote surveillance systems and build staff capacity in
digital literacy.
20.From 2025, ensure a wide range of fodder and forage supply for the farm.
21.From 2025, reduce unexplained deaths of animals.
22.From 2025, reduce theft from workers and outsiders.
23.From 2025, build farm resilience against epidemics and pandemics.
24.From 2025, reduce misuse and overuse of antibiotics.
25.From 2025, improve soil fertility for sustainable crop production.
26.From 2025, reduce parasites and pests on the farm.
27.From 2025, reduce misuse and overuse of fertilizers on the farm.
28.From 2025, adopt appropriate technology in crop production.
29.By 2027, engage a full-time tour guide.
30.By 2026, put in place all learning and development packages.
31.From 2025, establish relevant partnerships with key stakeholders like
universities, government ministries, related NGOs, funders, etc.
32.By the end of 2025, register Ruby Initiative as the NGO arm of CVF.
33.From 2025, build a financial base for the community development program to
be able to carry out developmental projects.
